The Yamaha RM-CG is a ceiling array microphone built for AV integrators and systems designers deploying conferencing infrastructure in corporate boardrooms, huddle spaces, training rooms, and government facilities. It combines multi-beam tracking, adaptive echo cancellation, noise reduction, dereverberation, auto mixing, and automatic gain control into a single ceiling-mounted unit, eliminating the need for a separate DSP appliance in many configurations.

A single shielded Cat 5e or higher cable carries both power via PoE and bidirectional Dante audio, dramatically simplifying plenum wiring and reducing termination points compared to analog microphone arrays with separate power and signal runs. Three supported mounting methods, ceiling flush, wire suspension, and VESA, give installers flexibility across slab, T-bar, and suspended ceiling environments without additional brackets.

Automatic detection and configuration with the Yamaha RM-CR Remote Conference Processor makes commissioning straightforward for multi-room rollouts. Up to 14 RM-CG units can connect to a single RM-CR, scaling coverage across large or divided spaces. IP5X dust protection and UL2043 plenum rating, both with the included terminal cover, meet the environmental and code requirements of commercial and government installations where analog alternatives often fall short.
