The Yamaha VXL1-16P series is engineered for AV integrators designing permanent installations in conference rooms and corporate environments where ceiling height, sightlines, and interior design all constrain speaker placement. The slim line-array form factor places 16 neodymium-loaded full-range drivers in a compact column enclosure that can be wall-mounted and, where required, painted to match the surrounding architecture. The result is a system that delivers consistent vocal clarity across a wide horizontal coverage angle without calling attention to itself.
Network-native audio distribution sets this series apart from conventional installed speakers. Dante audio and PoE power arrive together over a single RJ-45 connection from any IEEE 802.3at or 802.3af compliant L2 switch, eliminating separate audio cabling runs and power amplifier racks entirely. Integrators can leverage existing IT infrastructure and simplify both the installation and the ongoing support model. For rooms in the 12 m x 10 m range, the onboard amplification and protection circuitry handle clip limiting, over-temperature, and DC detection without requiring external signal processing hardware.
The VXL1-16P series is available in black and white finishes and ships with wall mounting hardware included, reducing the accessory budget required to get a system commissioned. Optional brackets and hardware expand placement options for installations with specific architectural requirements. For AV integrators looking to deliver a clean, low-profile audio solution on Dante networks, the VXL1-16P series removes the traditional tradeoff between system complexity and sound quality.
