The SGV-6 Vocal Mic from ZOOM is a highly directional shotgun vocal microphone designed to isolate your voice by suppressing sounds from other instruments on stage and other ambient noise, which can leak into a traditional mic’s signal. It accomplishes this by utilizing three microphone elements with special processing to help ensure only your voice is picked up. This enables vocal processors, such as the Zoom V6 and V3, to modulate your voice with unmatched accuracy. The SGV-6’s sensitivity is -46dB/Pa at 1 kHZ for each of the three mic units, with a maximum sound pressure input of 140 dB SPL.
