Recording up to 14 simultaneous tracks at 24-bit/96 kHz to SD card, the L12next captures the master mix in 32-bit float for overdrive protection during unpredictable live dynamics. New overdub mode and auto punch in/out streamline layered recording and re-takes, while the file select button loads tracks from separate sessions to expand a live mix with pre-recorded elements. Five independent monitor outputs let band members dial in personal mixes for stereo in-ears or mono wedges, with a dedicated engineer output providing talkback communication across the monitor system.
Ten scene memories store complete console states including fader positions, EQ curves, mute assignments, and effect settings for instant recall between sets or performances.
