The Ace Backstage ISO104BBX is a heavy-duty rough-in back box designed for permanent installation in theatrical stages, performance venues, and installed production environments where Double Wide Stage Pockets are specified. Built for integrators and production facility contractors who require code-compliant, structurally sound sub-floor infrastructure, this back box provides the below-floor foundation that the pocket assembly indexes into and locks against for a secure, repeatable installation.

The box is engineered to support AC isolation between low-voltage connector panels and high-voltage duplex electrical panels, a critical requirement in live production environments where signal integrity and electrical safety must coexist in the same floor pocket. Combination conduit knockouts on all four sides accommodate standard trade sizes, giving electricians full flexibility when routing EMT or rigid conduit from any direction. An internal predrilled mounting flange allows the above-floor pocket bezel and below-floor rough-in box to be clamped together without additional hardware fabrication on site.

Consistency across large-scale installs is ensured through tool-and-die fabrication, which delivers modular conformity across every unit. The electrodeposited clear zinc finish meets ASTM standards for corrosion protection to military specifications, making this back box appropriate for environments where sub-floor moisture exposure is a concern. A temporary protective cover ships with each unit and is discarded at final pocket installation, protecting the interior during the construction phase.
