The Alfatron Electronics 16x16 Audio Digital Signal Processor is designed for systems integrators and installed AV professionals who need a fully featured, multi-channel DSP without the complexity of a full mixing console. Powered by an ADI SHARC 21489 processor, the unit delivers 16 balanced mic/line inputs and 16 balanced line outputs with 24-bit, 48kHz conversion, giving installers the headroom and resolution required for conference rooms, houses of worship, courtrooms, lecture halls, and multi-zone commercial audio systems.
Where this processor stands out in its class is the breadth of onboard processing. AEC, auto-mixing, noise suppression, feedback suppression, parametric and graphic EQ, compression, expansion, ducking, gating, ambient noise compensation, and delay are all available without requiring external plug-ins or additional hardware. A single USB audio channel adds soft-codec integration for hybrid meeting spaces. Control flexibility covers RS-232, RS-485, and IP, supporting both direct PC configuration via the included GUI and third-party control system integration. Eight GPIO connections enable custom external logic triggers for room automation scenarios.
The family is available with or without Dante network audio, letting integrators match the unit to the infrastructure already in place. External volume controls and keypads can be added separately for end-user room control without exposing the full DSP interface.
