The AA240G is built for commercial audio contractors and systems integrators who need a single-rack-unit solution for distributed paging, background music, and sound masking in small to medium-scale installations. Four mic/line inputs with per-channel phantom power and two stereo AUX inputs give the system designer flexibility to accommodate paging microphones, CD players, and digital music receivers in a single chassis without an external mix matrix.
Where the AA240G separates itself from commodity mixer amplifiers is in its onboard intelligence for real-world install scenarios. The Bridge In/Out circuit with balanced link and internal relay allows multiple units to be combined for ballroom or multi-zone applications, eliminating the external relay hardware that competing designs require. VOX and contact closure muting, a special low-cut filter optimized for paging horn coverage, Zone 2 MOH output from the CH6 line source, and VCA control assignable to BGM or global mix bus address the day-to-day operational needs of installed commercial systems without additional signal processing gear.
Multi-load output compatibility — 25V, 70.7V, 100V, and 8Ω — means the AA240G integrates cleanly with AtlasIED FAP, SM, SD, and GD Series loudspeakers as well as third-party distributed speaker systems. The Pre Out/Power Amp In insert point preserves the option to patch external processors when system requirements evolve, and 100V–240V voltage compatibility supports international deployments.
