The 8" cast frame woofer paired with a concentrically mounted 1" exit compression driver ensures coherent full-range reproduction from a single point source, maintaining phase alignment and intelligibility across the coverage zone.
For permanent outdoor and semi-exposed installs, the multi-screen weather protection system sets this unit apart from comparable horn speakers. A perforated aluminum screen covers the horn mouth, a secondary screen guards the high-frequency driver, and a third tightly perforated screen protects the woofer — all complemented by a rear weep hole that allows internal condensation to evaporate. The included heavy-duty mounting bracket simplifies surface installation, and a 70V/100V transformer with multiple power taps gives system designers flexibility to match zoning requirements on distributed audio systems.
