The ALA5TAW is a compact column line array loudspeaker built for permanent installation environments where speech intelligibility, life-safety compliance, and architectural discretion are all required. EN54-24 certification makes it a verified choice for voice alarm and emergency systems, while the extruded aluminum housing keeps the footprint minimal without sacrificing durability. It is well suited for houses of worship, transportation terminals, corporate lobbies, retail environments, and any space where intelligible distributed audio must coexist with interior design requirements.
The transducer array combines five proprietary full-range drivers with dual high-frequency tweeters, delivering a controlled 135° horizontal by 45° vertical dispersion pattern that keeps sound on the audience and off reflective surfaces — a critical advantage in reverberant spaces. Multi-tap 70.7V and 100V transformer options alongside low-impedance operation give system designers flexibility to integrate the speaker into virtually any installed sound infrastructure without additional hardware.
Installation is straightforward: the rear extrusion accepts a sliding wall mount bracket — included in the box — that allows the installer to fine-tune vertical tilt without disassembling the enclosure. Barrier strip and NL-4 connectivity reduce wiring complexity on the job site. For integrators comparing column arrays in this class, the combination of EN54-24 compliance, multi-tap transformer flexibility, and included mounting hardware represents a meaningfully lower total installed cost than competing systems requiring third-party brackets or separate certification accessories.
