The AtlasIED FB4CPB is a dedicated concrete pour box engineered specifically for use with the FB4-XLRF 4-outlet floor box in permanent installed audio applications. It is the required component when a flush-mount installation is specified in concrete or masonry flooring — a common requirement in houses of worship, performing arts centers, corporate boardrooms, and other fixed-installation AV environments where surface-mounted boxes are not acceptable.
Built from 16-gauge galvanized steel, the FB4CPB provides the structural integrity needed to withstand the pressures of poured concrete during construction, protecting the floor box cavity until the installation is complete. The unpainted finish is appropriate for a component that will be fully embedded. Four compound combination knockouts — each accepting 1/2" or 3/4" conduit (13–19mm) — give installers routing flexibility for multiple conduit runs from any direction, simplifying rough-in coordination with electrical and low-voltage trades on the job site.
