The AtlasIED IP-SDH is engineered for facilities where standard ceiling speakers cannot overcome ambient noise or reach large open spaces. Integrators and IT-AV teams deploying enterprise mass notification in corporate campuses, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, government buildings, and transportation hubs rely on this wall-mount horn speaker to serve simultaneously as a high-output audio device and a visual communication endpoint. Its 15-watt compression driver with double re-entrant horn design delivers wide dispersion and high SPL across voice and tone frequencies, making intelligibility reliable even in industrial or gymnasium-style environments.
Unlike passive IP speakers that require separate amplification, the IP-SDH draws power directly from the network switch via PoE or PoE+, eliminating dedicated power runs and simplifying installation at scale. The speaker natively auto-registers as an endpoint within InformaCast, Revolution Advanced Notification, and GlobalControlKom platforms, and also registers directly as a SIP device to any compliant VoIP communications manager — giving integrators flexibility to deploy in managed notification environments or standalone SIP infrastructures without additional middleware.
The onboard high-resolution LCD transitions between NTP-synchronized clock display during standby and scrolling text alerts during active notifications, directly addressing ADA effective communication requirements for facilities serving people with disabilities. GPI/O ports extend integration to third-party trigger systems, and the 18-gauge powder-coated steel grille provides the structural durability expected in commercial security and life-safety installations.
