The AtlasIED PM8SUB pendant subwoofer is engineered for installed audio professionals who need reliable low-frequency reinforcement in challenging architectural spaces. Built around the same 8" Strategy II Series FAP8SUB driver used in AtlasIED's proven in-ceiling subwoofer package, the PM8SUB delivers consistent, wide-coverage bass response in venues where conventional in-ceiling subs fall short — particularly in spaces with high or open-beam ceilings.

The down-firing pendant enclosure design enables natural-sounding coverage across large floor areas without the installation constraints of flush-mounted alternatives. An integrated 70.7V transformer with selectable power taps at 7.5, 15, 30, and 60 watts — plus an 8Ω bypass — gives integrators the flexibility to match distributed audio system requirements precisely, whether running 70V constant-voltage lines or direct-impedance loads.

Installation is straightforward in both hard ceiling and open-beam environments. A 3-meter cable kit with a self-gripping ferrule system is included for open-beam mounting, and the enclosure accepts any standard 3/4" ceiling fan hardware for down-pipe installation from hard ceiling surfaces.
