The AtlasIED SEC2 is engineered for systems integrators and installed AV professionals who need to protect rack-mounted equipment — equalizers, mixers, and signal processors — from unauthorized adjustment in public-access or unattended environments such as houses of worship, courtrooms, conference rooms, and educational facilities. The perforated steel insert maintains good visibility into the rack while physically blocking access to controls.
Unlike a blank panel that simply fills space, the SEC2 provides active tamper deterrence without sacrificing ventilation or aesthetics. The 22-gauge steel construction resists flexing and casual forced entry, while formed edges protect adjacent equipment from contact scratches during installation or servicing. Radiused corners align visually with professional rack furniture for a finished installation appearance.
Mounting follows E.I.A. universal spacing with oblong holes for lateral adjustment, making alignment straightforward across a wide range of rack cabinets. The textured ebony black epoxy finish provides aesthetic continuity when used alongside other AtlasIED blank, louvered, or solid panels in the same cabinet build.
