Audix f9 Pencil Condenser Microphone

The f9 from Audix is a professional pre-polarized condenser microphone used for stage and studio applications. This all-purpose pencil condenser microphone's clear, accurate response makes it ideal for instruments requiring detailed reproduction in mid-high and extended high-end frequency ranges. With its low impedance and balanced output, the f9 instrument condenser microphone provides interference-free performance. Characterized with a wide, uniformly controlled cardioid polar pattern, the f9 is designed to capture the acoustics of the instrument being miked while at the same time isolating it from the rest of the instruments on stage. Paired with high sensitivity, this mic is great for close, overhead, and distance miking. The f9 instrument mic features a 16 mm pre-polarized capsule with gold vapor diaphragm and a frequency response of 40 Hz – 20 kHz. This microphone operates on phantom power of 12-48 V. The f9 is easy to position, durable and manufactured with high standards and tight tolerances. The f9 is manufactured with a precision cast zinc alloy body, durable black E-coat finish and gold plated XLR connector.
