The ATEM Television Studio HD8 2TB is designed for broadcast engineers, live production teams, and AV integrators who need a full-featured production switcher without the footprint of a traditional rack-based system. With eight 3G-SDI inputs featuring automatic standards conversion, a built-in Fairlight audio mixer, four Advanced Chroma Keyers, SuperSource, and dual downstream keyers, it delivers capabilities found in permanent broadcast installations at a fraction of the physical scale. The integrated control panel eliminates the need for a separate surface, making it viable for music venues, comedy clubs, education environments, sports facilities, and broadcast vans where rack space is not available.
The 2TB internal M.2 NVMe storage enables ISO recording of all inputs simultaneously, giving editors frame-accurate multi-cam timecode sync in any NLE. The built-in hardware H.264 streaming engine outputs directly to RTMP destinations including YouTube, while dual USB-C ports support webcam output and additional recording paths. Network storage access lets multiple operators share and collaborate on media without interrupting live recording. A 16-way multiview, RS-422 control, MADI audio I/O, talkback, and Blackmagic Cloud integration round out the feature set for demanding production environments.
