The Sonance Wall-M is a PoE-powered, wall-mounted user controller that delivers intuitive end-user control over key zone functions — volume and source selection — across up to 8 audio zones per PowerZone Connect amplifier. End users get the simple, purpose-built interface they need without exposing the amplifier's underlying DSP, and facility managers can preserve the system commissioning by limiting which zones each Wall-M unit can touch.
Each PowerZone Connect amplifier supports up to 8 Wall-M controllers, with each unit configurable for either multi-zone or single-zone use depending on the system design. Power and data both flow over a single PoE cable, simplifying cable runs and eliminating the need for separate low-voltage power infrastructure to each control location. The white North American variant is the correct configuration for North American installations using the matching faceplate and back-box geometry.
End-user-facing controllers are typically deployed at the bar, behind a front counter, or in a back-of-house manager office — locations where staff need fast volume and source changes without opening the amplifier configuration interface. Configure Wall-M units during initial commissioning to scope each controller to the appropriate zones, preventing accidental changes to neighboring spaces in multi-tenant buildings.
