The Bogen HS15EZ is a ceiling loudspeaker for 70V distributed audio systems, aimed at integrators, electrical contractors, and facility AV teams who need clear speech and background music coverage without complicated commissioning. Because it includes its own transformer, it connects straight to 70V amplifier outputs, which keeps wiring simple and lets one amplifier channel feed many speakers.
Typical placements include offices, schools, retail floors, restaurants, corridors, and meeting spaces where paging and low-level music need even coverage. Selectable power settings let a designer match each zone to its room, so quiet break rooms and busy open areas can share one line without overloading the amplifier. That flexibility also helps when a job gets revised late and speaker counts change.
Compared with generic ceiling speakers, this Bogen design gives installers a documented set of mounting accessories to build around. A mounting ring, a ceiling speaker enclosure, and a ceiling tile bridge are all listed as compatible, so the installation method can be matched to the ceiling type and local code requirements.
