Bogen RPK86 Rear Rack Support Brackets For Equipment Racks

Bogen RPK86 rear support brackets give installers a way to support the back end of deep rack gear. They suit integrators, sound contractors, and AV technicians who build equipment racks for commercial audio, paging, and conferencing systems, where a rack may stay in service for years and be reopened at every service call. Rear support addresses a common problem on loaded racks: deep chassis such as amplifiers, mixers, and processors hanging from the front rails alone.

Dedicated rack hardware keeps a build clean and serviceable compared with improvised fixes that complicate later changes. Sourcing it from Bogen, a name tied to installed and commercial sound, keeps the hardware consistent with the rest of a Bogen based system. Before ordering, check your rack's depth and rail style against the bracket, and pair it with the correct rack rails and screws for the rest of the build. Whether the rack ends up in an equipment room, a control booth, or a portable production cart, getting the support hardware right at build time is easier than correcting problems after the rack is loaded.
