The DAS Audio ALTEA-712-WR is a passive 2-way full-range loudspeaker built for production teams, venues, and integrators that need dependable output in a compact format with added protection for outdoor use. Its 12" low-frequency transducer and M-28 high-frequency compression driver support clear speech, music playback, and general reinforcement across medium-sized event systems, stage monitor positions, and fixed-install applications.
This weather-resistant version is designed with outdoor deployment in mind. Rust-resistant INOX hardware, a grille with layered protective treatment, and a rear speakON connection cover help protect the system in environments where humidity, dust, and small water particles are a concern. The polypropylene enclosure keeps the cabinet practical for transport while integrated handles and M8 rigging points support efficient setup for mobile rigs or flown and mounted configurations.
