Any wireless microphone headset used in a theater needs to withstand a variety of challenges. Humidity is the most common enemy to sound equipment in theaters and other applications where headsets are the go-to choice. To combat that, the 4088 headset microphone features water-repellant nano-coating of the cover and housing, hermetic sealing of the amplifier at the mic’s core, and dual gold plating of the diaphragm. Sound quality and design is great for live performances when background noise and feedback are concerns. Bass response has optimal linearity at 1 inch from the sound source, making bass roll-off relatively prominent at a greater distance to reject background noise and avoid feedback.

Personal comfort is taken into account in the 4088 wireless microphone headset. Microphone can be detached from boom and worn on either the left or right. Choose from a variety of colors, sizes, and connectors. This wireless microphone headset uses CORE technology. CORE uses the same capsule as Legacy, and makes improvements with minminimizing distorition and significantly expanding dynamic range up to 14 dB (capsule dependent).
