The K&M 12225 utility tray is designed for live sound engineers and production technicians who need a stable, accessible surface at the mix position or on stage. It clamps securely to any tripod stand with a tube diameter up to 30mm, converting a standard stand into a practical workspace for digital mixers, MIDI controllers, tablets, or other compact electronics without requiring a dedicated table or road case lid.

For touring and festival applications where floor space is limited, the steel construction keeps the shelf rigid under the weight of real gear, while the integrated cable routing slot keeps signal and power cables organized and out of the way. The included foam insert protects the surface of sensitive equipment and reduces vibration transfer during performance. An included can and cup holder adds a practical convenience that engineers working long sets will appreciate. This tray addresses a specific workflow gap between using a full stand bag and investing in a dedicated console stand, making it a cost-effective addition to any live production kit.
