The Lowell ACSPR-2009 is a 1U rackmount power distribution unit built for installed AV environments where reliable power management and surge protection are non-negotiable. Running on a 20A circuit, it provides nine total outlets across front and rear positions, with a rocker switch giving operators selective control over a subset of those outlets without cutting power to always-on equipment like signal processors or network gear.

What sets this PDU apart from basic power strips or entry-level rack units is the Advanced Multi-Stage Surge Suppression with TCR (Triple Clamping Redundant) technology. This three-layer clamping architecture absorbs and diverts surges up to 72,000A, protecting sensitive electronics in permanent installs, broadcast racks, and house-of-worship systems where replacing damaged gear mid-event is not an option. Integrated LED indicators give technicians an at-a-glance status check on surge protection integrity, and a 10-year warranty backs the TCR protection circuitry specifically.
