The Martin Lighting MAC Encore Two is engineered for lighting designers and production teams who cannot compromise on color accuracy, output, or operational noise. Its proprietary 760W LED white light engine produces 21,000 lumens at 5,600K, representing a 75% increase over its predecessor, while a selectable ultra-low fan mode keeps acoustic output below 28 dB(A) at one meter. That combination makes it equally viable on a broadcast stage, in a quiet theater, or in a high-output touring rig where weight-to-output ratio is a critical spec.
Where the MAC Encore Two separates from competing automated fixtures is in its color rendering and optical precision. Native CRI, TM-30, and TLCI scores of 90 across all three indices, boosted to 95 with the included Spectrum Enhancement Filter option, mean skin tones and scenic colors reproduce accurately under camera and to the naked eye. The enhanced CMY system delivers saturated amber and yellow without the green shift common in LED sources, and the full-gamut color calibration system keeps output consistent across fixtures in multi-unit rigs. The 1:10 motorized zoom system, spanning 5 degrees to 54 degrees through a 150mm front lens, gives operators six times the peak intensity of the previous generation at its narrowest angle, covering long-throw architectural and theatrical applications that previously required a different fixture class.
For installed and rental operations, the MAC Encore Two is designed to consolidate inventory. It functions as a key light, an automated followspot, and a scenic effects fixture within a single product. Two gobo wheels, a dual frost system, a 4-facet prism, a rotatable framing module with four individually controllable blades, an animation wheel, and an iris give programmers the full toolkit without accessories. Control is handled via DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN, or Martin P3, with NFC addressing and an optional wireless Universal Connect Module for installations where cable runs are not practical.
