The Martin Lighting VC-Strip 30 RGB LED tape family is designed for lighting designers, AV integrators, and production teams who need precise, high-uniformity video-grade LED strips built into stage sets, architectural interiors, broadcast environments, and custom scenic elements. Unlike generic LED tape, every module is individually calibrated at the pixel level for brightness and color, ensuring consistent output across entire surfaces whether modules are sourced from different batches or deployed across large-scale installations.

Where the VC-Strip family separates itself from DMX-only LED solutions is its native compatibility with Martin's P3 System Controller platform. P3 enables smooth video playback, pixel mapping, and real-time VideoMapping, all with 16-bit color resolution per channel. For productions that require flexibility, a hybrid control mode lets operators toggle in real-time between DMX, PixelMapping, and VideoMapping via the P3 Switch channel without interrupting the show. Direct DMX operation using USITT DMX512-A and ANSI/ESTA E1.20 RDM is also fully supported for environments where P3 infrastructure is not in place.

VC-Strip modules daisy-chain using a single combined power and data cable, simplifying runs and reducing cable density on complex builds. Modules can be cut to custom lengths on-site to meet precise integration requirements, and mounting holes in each module support flexible orientation in any direction. The strips are compatible with VC-Grid 30 for grid-format video surface builds, and the full ecosystem of Martin PowerPort and PSU options covers both permanent installs and touring rental deployments.
