The Q-SYS AD-S6-BK is a compact surface mount loudspeaker built for installed audio applications that need consistent coverage, flexible aiming, and reliable operation in challenging environments. Its 6.5-inch weather treated woofer and horn-loaded 1-inch silk dome tweeter are designed to deliver broad 105° conical DMT coverage, helping integrators achieve even sound distribution across audience areas. With a 16 Ω load and Euroblock connector with parallel output, it fits well into distributed low-impedance system designs for hospitality, corporate, education, and public-space installations.
The enclosure uses painted ABS polymer with a powder coated aluminum grille and a sealed input panel cover for added durability. Rated IP-54 and designed for indoor and outdoor use, the speaker is suited for locations where dust and splash resistance matter. The included X-Mount system supports straightforward deployment at a range of angles while maintaining secure positioning over time, making it useful for wall-mounted foreground music and speech systems.
For Q-SYS environments, Advanced Intrinsic Correction voicings are available via Q-SYS, giving system designers an additional optimization option during deployment. Complete EASE, CF2, CAD, and BIM resources are also available online for planning and documentation workflows.
