The Q-SYS MPA-Q Network Amplifier family is built for integrators designing installed audio systems in hospitality, entertainment, retail, and government environments where centralized control, operational flexibility, and reliable uptime are non-negotiable. Available in 4- and 8-channel versions with varying power-per-channel options, the platform covers a wide range of distributed audio zones and performance applications within a single product architecture. Every channel supports direct-drive Lo-Z, Hi-Z, 70V, and 100V operation without manual switching, simplifying deployment across mixed-load speaker designs and eliminating the bridged configuration changes that complicate multi-zone installs.

For networked AV environments, the amplifiers combine audio transport, amplifier control, and onboard DSP processing in a 2RU full-rack chassis. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports support redundant networked audio, and standalone mode allows the unit to fall back to available analog inputs if network connectivity is lost. LAN A can accept PoE to speed audio recovery after a power interruption, which is especially valuable in critical paging and background music applications. Analog Mode can bypass networked audio entirely, turning the amplifier into a fully analog unit with basic channel configuration available from the front panel display.

Beyond core amplification, each model includes onboard DSP with gain, polarity, IIR and FIR filtering, delay, and multiple limiter types, giving system designers meaningful processing tools without external hardware. Four GPI inputs and two NO/NC output relays extend control integration for room automation and paging workflows. Rack ears come pre-installed and support both standard rack mounting and chassis-supported surface mounting, and bundled Euroblock connectors streamline field wiring on commercial installation projects.
