Q-SYS Zip4 4-Zone Dante/AES67 Paging Interface With PoE

The Zip4 is purpose-built for large-scale paging deployments where reliability and zone flexibility are non-negotiable. Installed audio engineers working in airports, train stations, sports venues, and convention centers can route paging audio and bi-directional control status data over a Dante or AES67 network to Q-SYS, third-party network AV systems, or external Paging Management System controllers across up to four independent zones from a single dual-gang wallplate device.

For facilities already running Q-SYS, the dedicated Q-SYS Extension integrates existing PA Router functionality directly into Q-SYS Designer Software, eliminating the need for additional middleware or custom programming workarounds. A rear-panel switch accommodates both dynamic and phantom-powered paging microphones, while the RJ-45 and 6-pin depluggable mic/PTT input supports handheld push-to-talk operation. This flexibility makes the Zip4 suitable for staffed paging stations in transit control rooms, arena press boxes, and corporate reception desks without requiring custom hardware.
