The RapcoHorizon SL-4 is engineered for live and studio environments where multiple unbalanced Hi-Z sources — keyboards, drum triggers, synths, or other line-level instruments — must be converted to balanced Lo-Z signals for a console or stagebox. Built into a cold rolled steel chassis for superior RF shielding and long-term road durability, it occupies a single rack space and eliminates the need to stage multiple individual DI boxes across a show or session.
Each of the four channels is equipped with a front-panel Hi-Z input, a loop-thru jack for monitoring or amp feeds, a ground lift switch to eliminate hum from ground loops, and a -20dB pad switch that accommodates both instrument-level and line-level sources without signal overload. The rear panel provides a Hi-Z 1/4" input/output, an XLR male balanced Lo-Z output, and a balanced 1/4" output per channel, delivering flexible patching configurations that simplify complex multichannel setups.
