The RCF KPS802 is built for AV integrators and systems engineers specifying amplification for permanent installed audio environments. Its Class-D output stage employs a full-bandwidth pulse-width modulator across the full audible spectrum, keeping distortion exceptionally low while delivering reliable power across 2-ohm, 4-ohm, and 8-ohm loads. The amplifier's intelligent power-sharing architecture allows asymmetric distribution across output pairs without requiring bridge mode, giving installers meaningful flexibility when zoning rooms with uneven speaker loads.
Control infrastructure is central to the KPS802's design. LAN connectivity enables direct integration with RCF's RDSpace platform as well as third-party control systems including AMX, Crestron, Q-SYS, and Symetrix. Configurable GPIO expands automation possibilities in complex installs. Digital S/PDIF I/O provides a clean signal path for digital sources, while balanced and unbalanced analog inputs accommodate a broad range of signal types. RCF passive speaker presets are included, reducing commissioning time and ensuring system-optimized EQ and delay settings out of the box.
RDSpace software, available for macOS, Windows, and browser-based access, centralizes input routing, zone definition, parametric EQ, linear-phase FIR filtering, precision delay, and real-time system monitoring into a single interface.
