The RCF L2406-T is a passive three-way column array engineered for medium to large installed audio environments where speech clarity and controlled dispersion are critical. Houses of worship, conference centers, transportation terminals, and multi-use venues benefit from the column's 150-degree horizontal coverage combined with a tightly controlled 30-degree vertical pattern that limits ceiling reflections and reduces feedback buildup. That directivity comes from a 10-driver array combining six 5-inch woofers with four 1-inch dome tweeters, arranged so the two central woofers operate independently to support true cardioid column behavior. The result is coherent output with minimal lobing across the coverage zone.
Installers gain flexibility through dual amplification compatibility. The cabinet runs from a standard low-impedance amplifier at 8 ohms, and a built-in 100V line transformer with four selectable power taps makes it equally suited to distributed 70V/100V systems without external transformers. A switchable speech enhancer filter further sharpens voice-frequency intelligibility when music reproduction is secondary. The crossover includes active MOSFET tweeter protection, and included wall-mount hardware keeps the enclosure flush to the surface with adjustable tilt for precise aim. Available in black and white finishes to suit architectural requirements.
