The sE Electronics DM1 DYNAMITE is an active inline preamp engineered for live sound, studio recording, and broadcast applications where dynamic or passive ribbon microphones need a clean level boost before reaching your console or interface. Unlike passive gain blocks, the DM1 uses a dedicated buffer amplifier and Class-A topology to deliver consistent +28dB regardless of load impedance, ensuring your vintage ribbon mics, kick drum dynamics, and snare capsules reach optimal operating levels without degradation.
Built for touring and studio environments, the all-metal housing and premium finish withstand demanding on-stage conditions and rental house abuse. The Class-A design paired with specially selected high-grade FETs delivers the lowest output impedance and noise floor in its category, enabling long cable runs with minimal susceptibility to RF interference, buzz, and hum. Gold-plated XLR connectors provide loss-free signal transfer and long-term reliability.
The DM1 is exclusively designed for passive microphones that do not require phantom power. It will not work with condenser microphones or active ribbon mics. Connect it between your microphone and preamp or audio interface with phantom power enabled on your input channel.
