The sE Electronics SE7(P) is a matched pair of compact small-diaphragm condenser microphones built for engineers who need consistent stereo results across a wide range of sources. Suitable for studio tracking and live reinforcement, this pair is well suited to acoustic guitar, piano, choirs, strings, woodwinds, percussion, cymbals, and drum overhead duties. Its cardioid pickup helps focus on the source while remaining practical for common close and ambient mic placements.

This model uses a back-electret condenser capsule with transformerless electronics and discrete Class-A circuitry to support articulate capture and strong transient detail. A switchable -20 dB pad allows the microphones to be used on louder sources without easily overloading the input stage, while the selectable 80 Hz low-cut filter helps reduce rumble and footfall noise or manage excess low end during close placement. The compact metal housing, gold-plated XLR connection, and phantom-powered operation make the pair easy to integrate into professional recording rigs, installed systems, and portable production packages.
