The sE Electronics V-BEAT-U delivers professional drum miking in a space-efficient package purpose-built for touring, studio, and live sound applications. Drummers and engineers rely on this microphone to isolate drums from stage bleed while capturing natural tone with exceptional clarity. The specialized DMC7 X capsule features an aluminum voice coil—significantly lighter than industry-standard copper—producing open, transient-rich response with deep lows and balanced mids that complement percussive instruments.
The V-BEAT-U employs an extremely low-profile mechanical design with integrated XLR connector and stand mount on the underside, eliminating cable clutter and the need for right-angle adapters. Advanced internal capsule suspension decouples the microphone from mechanical vibration, shock, and stage jolts, removing the requirement for external shock mounts. Supercardioid polar pattern and excellent off-axis rejection make this microphone ideal for tight drum kits where isolation from other instruments is critical.
Built for touring and studio durability, the V-BEAT-U features a die-cast zinc-alloy chassis and spring-steel mesh grille designed to withstand years of road use. The included red and black internal windscreens reduce plosives and wind noise.
