The Sonance PS-60XF 70V/100V transformer adapts 8-ohm Sonance loudspeakers for use in commercial 70V or 100V distributed audio installations. Sonance Laminated Core Technology (SLCT) delivers full-fidelity performance through the transformer rather than the dynamic-range compression typical of lower-cost constant-voltage transformers.
Multiple tap settings give per-speaker output trim — 60W, 30W, and 15W in 70V or 100V mode, plus 7.5W in 70V only — and the clearly labeled, color-coded wiring simplifies field termination. Mounting tabs accept both screws and zip ties for flexible installation, and the compact form factor fits inside third-party small weatherproof enclosures for outdoor applications. Compatible with the full range of Sonance high-performance and specialty 8-ohm in-wall and in-ceiling speakers.
The PS-60XF is the standard transformer choice when retrofitting 8-ohm Sonance loudspeakers into existing 70V/100V commercial distribution networks — a common scenario during property refreshes where the speaker selection changes but the existing power amplifier and distribution wiring remain in place.
