The TOA CA-160 is built for mobile public address applications where reliable, self-contained amplification is required from a vehicle's 12V electrical system. The unit accepts two microphone inputs and an auxiliary line input, allowing an operator to mix a handheld or mounted mic alongside a program source such as a radio or playback device. Output impedance is selectable between 4 and 8 ohms by reconfiguring the lead wire connections, which gives installers flexibility when matching the amplifier to available speaker loads in the field.
