The TOA WTU-M9800-AMWM1 is a PLL-synthesized UHF wireless tuner module designed for integrators and AV system designers who need to add wireless microphone capability directly inside a TOA mixer or mixer/amplifier that accepts 900 series input modules. Instead of dedicating rack space to a standalone receiver, the module slots into the existing chassis and draws power from the mixer's internal supply, keeping installs clean and infrastructure costs low. Up to two units can be powered this way simultaneously, making dual-wireless configurations practical without adding an external power supply or additional circuitry.
The module operates in the M-Band from 506 to 538 MHz and supports up to 16 selectable UHF channels, making it a workable solution for meeting rooms, houses of worship, conference centers, and installed sound environments where a modest channel count covers daily operational needs. Space diversity reception and a double super-heterodyne architecture provide the RF stability that fixed installations require. BNC antenna connectors support both the included local antennas and optionally mounted remote antennas such as the YW-4500 series powered antenna, giving installers flexibility when antenna placement away from the chassis is necessary. A contact output channel adds integration potential for connected control systems or signal-present indicators.
