The DuetE5-WP-C-WHITE is a 4K60 4:4:4 AV-over-IP wallplate encoder designed for AV integrators and installation professionals who need a clean, in-wall source point within the PacketAV 5 Series ecosystem. It encodes full 4:4:4 ultra-low-latency video using a JPEG2000-based visually lossless codec and transmits it alongside Dante/AES67 networked audio over a single Gigabit Ethernet port, eliminating the need for fiber or 10-Gigabit switching infrastructure.
Where this unit stands apart from standard HDMI wallplate encoders is its USB-C input with DisplayPort Alt Mode support and bi-directional USB-over-IP. That means USB peripherals such as cameras, touch panels, or control interfaces connected at a remote 5 Series decoder can be routed back through the wallplate's USB-C port, enabling full KVM extension across the network without added cabling. The angled 45-degree RJ-45 connector preserves CAT5e/6 bend-radius compliance inside standard electrical boxes, a detail that saves time and avoids rework on professional installs.
Powered by PoE, the DuetE5-WP-C-WHITE mounts into any standard Decora-style wallplate and fits wall, floor, or lectern applications. VLAN tagging keeps AV traffic isolated on shared enterprise networks, and HDCP 2.2/2.3 with AES-256 encryption satisfies content protection requirements in corporate, education, and government environments covered under TAA compliance.
