The AtlasIED AZM4 is the central processor of the Atmosphere audio control ecosystem, designed for commercial integrators managing multi-zone audio in restaurants, retail environments, houses of worship, schools, and corporate facilities. Unlike simple DSP crossovers, the AZM4 combines processing power with automated system intelligence — handling ambient noise compensation, loud noise detection, room combining, and scheduled paging from a single rackmount unit.
Integrators working with third-party control systems will find native module support for RTI, Crestron, Extron, and AMX, reducing programming overhead and ensuring reliable interoperability. Up to 16 plug-and-play wall plate accessories and sensors connect across two dedicated accessory ports, each rated to 1,000 feet, giving installers flexible topology without added infrastructure cost.
System setup and ongoing management are handled through a Progressive Web App interface accessible via Ethernet or the unit's onboard Wi-Fi access point — no proprietary software installation required. The device-agnostic interface supports tablets and laptops directly on-site, making commissioning and adjustments straightforward for both initial install and service visits. A large library of AtlasIED speaker presets further reduces tuning time in the field.
