AtlasIED AZMP8 8-Zone DSP Processor With Amplifier

The AtlasIED AZMP8 is engineered for integrators designing multi-zone installed audio systems in commercial, hospitality, education, and corporate environments. As the processing core of an Atmosphere control system, it combines an 8-zone DSP engine with a 1200W amplifier in a single unit, eliminating the need for separate racks of amplifiers and processors and reducing both cost and system complexity.

For AV integrators and system designers, the AZMP8 addresses real-world install challenges with features like ambient noise sensing with Tilter Filter auto-gain compensation, room combine and grouping logic, a built-in bell scheduler, and a message player — all configurable without third-party software. The amplifier power sharing architecture allows each output channel to be software-assigned anywhere from 5 to 600W, enabling efficient power allocation across zones rather than locking in fixed per-channel ratings that lead to system overdesign.

Programming and commissioning are handled through an on-board progressive web app interface that is device-agnostic and accessible over Ethernet or built-in Wi-Fi. Up to 16 plug-and-play Atmosphere wall plate accessories and paging stations can connect across four accessory ports, each rated to 1,000 feet. Third-party control system integration is supported for RTI, Crestron, Extron, and AMX, making the AZMP8 a practical fit for facilities requiring unified AV and building control.
